Workshop Description: This workshop is intended to be presented in French, as part of the partnership between the Association des Cardiologues du Québec and the CCC.
The workshop aims to enhance the knowledge level and address the learning needs in the evolving field of the treatment of severe aortic valve stenosis. Each presentation will begin with a clinical case presentation focusing on patient selection, acute and long-term management before and after trans-catheter or surgical aortic valve replacement. This workshop provides a great opportunity for members from different affiliations to collaborate including cardiac surgeons, clinical cardiologists, imaging specialists and interventional cardiologists. Presentations will cover indications for surgical or trans-catheter aortic valve replacement in the modern era, appropriate management, and future developments in the field.
The ACQ CME committee planned this workshop consisting of community and academic cardiologists, interventional cardiologists and cardiology trainees with diverse practices and experiences across Quebec. The ACQ CME ensures an objective and balanced representation of the topic " Atelier conjoint ACQ-CCC: Nouveautés dans la prise en charge de la sténose aortique ", free of third-party influence or support. Selected speakers from across Quebec represent diversity in gender, generation and geography.
