Session Description: The Wilfred Bigelow Lecture is the flagship address of the Canadian cardiac surgery community, awarded to a visionary leader whose work has transformed the field. This year, Dr. Michael Borger delivers a compelling address on innovation at the boundaries of heart surgery—where disruption, progress, and precision converge. The session also celebrates the next generation of surgical excellence with the presentation of the Paul Cartier Award to an outstanding emerging investigator.

At the end of this session participants will be able to:
