Faizan Amin, MD

Dr. Faizan Amin is a Cardiac Intensivist at Hamilton Health Sciences. He serves as the Director of the Cardiac Care Unit and the Medical Director of the ECLS Program in Hamilton. He also serves as the Co-Chair of the Ontario ECLS Network. He has a special interest in Heart Failure and Cardiogenic shock. Dr. Amin earned his medical degree from McMaster University, followed by residency training in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and Critical Care. He completed further fellowship training in Advanced Heart Failure & Transplantation in Toronto. He is currently an Assistant Professor at McMaster University in the Department of Medicine, and Department of Education & Innovation.
