Dr. Kayla Wolofsky is a Palliative Care and General Internal Medicine physician at Toronto General Hospital and an assistant professor at the University of Toronto. She completed her Internal Medicine training at Emory University, a recognized center of excellence for cardiology, and her Palliative Care fellowship at Harvard University at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital. Dr. Wolofsky leads a collaborative supportive care clinic for adults with congenital heart disease, integrating symptom management and advanced care planning into the long-term care of this complex population. Her academic interests focus on expanding access to supportive care in underserved populations and integrating palliative principles into Internal Medicine. She is also actively involved in global health initiatives, including palliative care capacity-building programs in rural Ghana, as well as educational and clinical work in humanitarian aid settings and medical emergencies.
