Dr. Poon is a cardiologist and Associate Professor at the University of Toronto. She is the Medical Director of the Heart Function clinic at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and serves as the co-chair of the Canadian Cardiovascular Society Heart Failure Working Group. Dr. Poon is also a member of the Canadian Heart Failure Society Board of Directors and Canadian Cardiovascular Society Continuing Professional Development committee. She is also a member of the primary panel of the Canadian Cardiovascular Society Heart Failure Guidelines committee and chair of the Ontario Health Heart Failure working task force.
