Dr. Goberdhan completed his Internal Medicine residency at Queen’s University and his clinical cardiology training at the University of Toronto. In 2019, he joined the Internal Medicine team at KMH Cardiology and subsequently became a Cardiologist in 2021. As part of his affiliation with Sunnybrook Hospital, he helps lead the RCAC program, which rapidly evaluates patients discharged from the ER with Cardiology concerns, thereby reducing the inpatient Cardiology burden.
His main clinical interests include the primary prevention of cardiac disease and cardiac screening in athletes. His research has primarily focused on the utility of EMR prompts, most recently through a project tracking technologist and physician responses to Transthyretin Amyloid Cardiomyopathy–related prompts, with the goal of promoting timely further workup.
