Julie Kim, BScN, MN, NP
Julie Kim earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) from Laurentian University in Sudbury, Ontario, in 1992. From 1993 to 2000, she worked as a Cardiovascular ICU nurse at both the University Health Network and St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto. In 2000, she completed her Master of Nursing and Nurse Practitioner program at the University of Toronto and has since practiced as an Acute Care Cardiology Nurse Practitioner.
Julie was the first Cardiology NP at St. Michael’s Hospital and, in 2003, she and her husband relocated to Kitchener-Waterloo to join the Regional Cardiac Centre at Waterloo Regional Health Network.
Throughout her career, Julie has been deeply committed to education, teaching both formally and informally in a variety of settings. She currently teaches part-time as a Coronary Care instructor at Humber College and also provides outpatient Cardiology consultations at her husband’s cardiology practice.
