Dr. Mahrukh Nisar is a second year Internal Medicine resident at the University of Toronto. She completed her Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Toronto, where she developed an early interest in cardiovascular medicine and the management of critically ill patients.
During residency, Dr. Nisar has pursued clinical and academic experiences that strengthen her understanding of complex cardiac conditions. Her research work reflects this interest, centering on the clinical outcomes and management approaches in cardiogenic shock.
At the Canadian Cardiovascular Congress, Dr. Nisar will be presenting her research on cardiogenic shock, contributing to the growing body of knowledge aimed at improving survival and optimizing treatment pathways for patients facing this life-threatening condition.
