Julie Riopel-Meunier is a registered dietitian with a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from Université Laval, a Master of Science in Nutrition, a Master of Business Administration, and a Public Health Nutrition Certificate. She has more than 10 years of experience in health promotion and has been working for over five years as a Scientific Advisor in Lifestyle Surveillance at the Institut national de santé publique du Québec (INSPQ). Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Clinical Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, her research focuses on the trajectories and implications of physical activity and sedentary behaviours in relation to the evolution of waist circumference and body mass index in the Quebec and Canadian populations.
