Samantha Jacobson is a medical student at the Université de Sherbrooke with a growing research focus in cardiology and internal medicine. She holds a Master of Science in Developmental Psychology and Psychopathology from King’s College London and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from McGill University. Her academic work spans endocrinology, metabolism, and cardiovascular health, with published studies on complex pregnancy cases, diabetes care transitions, and the metabolic effects of psychotropic medications. In cardiology, she has contributed to research on sex-based differences in outcomes after transcatheter pulmonary valve replacement at the Toronto Congenital Cardiac Centre for Adults and has presented work on echocardiographic approaches to self-inflicted cardiac injuries at the European Society of Cardiology. She is committed to advancing multidisciplinary models of care that bridge endocrinology, metabolism, and cardiovascular medicine.
