Dr. Pierre-Nicolas is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Université de Sherbrooke. He completed his residency in General Internal Medicine at the Université de Sherbrooke, followed by a clinical fellowship in Vascular Medicine at McMaster University. He currently practices in both general internal medicine and vascular medicine at CIUSSS de l'Estrie-CHUS.
His clinical and academic interests include lipid disorders, preventive cardiology, and the medical management of peripheral artery disease and arterial thrombosis. Dr Perron is also actively engaged in promoting awareness of peripheral artery disease among medical students and primary care practitioners, aiming to improve early recognition and management in frontline settings.
