Dr. Mark Liszkowski is a cardiologist and critical care specialist leading the Advanced Heart Failure and Transplantation Program at the McGill University Health Centre. His work focuses on advanced heart failure, mechanical circulatory support, and integration of palliative and ethical care into cardiovascular medicine.
A McGill graduate, he completed cardiology and critical care fellowships at the University of Calgary and advanced heart failure training at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard University.
Previously, he directed the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit and Clinical Cardiology Program at the Montreal Heart Institute. At MUHC, he is building a multidisciplinary, innovation-driven heart failure network focused on excellence in care, education, and system transformation.
