Dr. Idan Roifman completed a fellowship in multimodality cardiac imaging followed by a MSc in clinical epidemiology at the University of Toronto. He was subsequently appointed as a clinician scientist in the Department of Medicine at the University of Toronto and a cardiologist at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in 2016. He is currently the Reichmann Family Chair for Cardiovascular Research and the Director of Non-invasive Cardiology and Multimodality imaging at Sunnybrook. He is an adjunct scientist at ICES and a senior scientist at the Sunnybrook Research Institute as well as an Associate Professor at the University of Toronto. His research foci are in advanced cardiac imaging and cardiovascular epidemiology/health services research.
