Dr Philippe Dupuis is an endocrinologist working at the CHU de Québec - Université Laval since 2011. He underwent a 2-year research fellowship at Austin Health in Melbourne, Australia under the supervision of Dr Mathis Grossmann. The main topic of his research was the effect of testosterone treatment on diabetes in hypogonadal men. Upon his return in Quebec City, he became the head of the Andrology department and became responsible for the treatment of transgender individuals with gender-affirming hormone therapy. With more than 10 years of experience and hundreds of patients, Dr Dupuis hopes to foster interest and knowledge in transgender medicine, whether by training clincians or participating in research.
