Dr. Ibrahim is an adult cardiac surgeon at the Montreal Heart Institute and Sacrecoeur Hospital with a focus on aortic surgery. She completed her medical school degree and cardiac surgery training at Mcgill University, during which she did her Masters degree in Surgical Education. Dr. Ibrahim then pursued a 2-year fellowship in advanced aortic surgery at the University of Toronto in open and endovascular thoracoabdominal surgery, aortic root and arch reconstruction, and transcatheter aortic valve implantation. Dr. Ibrahim is currently an Assistant Professor at the University of Montreal and the Cardiac Surgery residency program director. She specializes in the treatment of patients with aortic disease, including complex aortic aneurysms and dissections.
