Thirumagal Gowrikanthan is an undergraduate student at McMaster University pursuing a double degree in Life Sciences (HB.Sc.) and Environmental Sciences (B.Sc.), along with a Concurrent Certificate in Science Communication. In addition to her research at McMaster, which focuses on knowledge translation and cardiology, she is a Research Scholar with the Stanford University School of Medicine, where she conducts research to advance the health of Asian populations through data science. Her broader interests include enhancing patient care by translating research into practice and bridging the gap between research and clinical application to ensure healthcare is accessible to all.
