Dre Thao Huynh is a cardiologist, epidemiologist, associate professor of medicine - McGill University. She has a Master in Biostatistics and Epidemiology-McGill University and PhD in Public Health - Epidemiology at University of Montreal. She has served as a consultant for AETMIS ( Agence d'Evaluation des Technologies et des Modes d'Intervention) in Quebec (2006-2008) now called INESSS. She is a member of the Canadian Guidelines for Pharmacology Interventions for Post Covid Condition - 2024.
Her current research interests are racial and sex-related inequities in acute cardiovascular diseases, post-COVID-19 condition cardiovascular diseases, and knowledge translation. She is the principal investigator of the study IMPACT-COVID 19 which evaluates long-term outcomes of patients with Post Covid Condition and cardiovascular symptoms.
