Dr. Vikas Kuriachan joined the Cardiology Section / Electrophysiology group at the University of Calgary in July 2010, after completing a year of complex ablation and extraction training at Brigham and Women’s Hospital / Harvard Medical School. He is a professor and the Academic and Zone Clinical Department Head for the Department of Cardiac Sciences in Calgary, Canada. His Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology training were in Calgary and Internal Medicine at University of British Columbia. His clinical and research interests include ablation, in particular VT ablation, device implantation, complex extraction, physician wellness, and new electrophysiology technologies.
