My name is Vineet Goyal, born and raised in Winnipeg Manitoba, Canada. I had the privilege of attending the University of Winnipeg for my undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and then went on to complete my Masters degree in Physiology and Pathophysiology at the University of Manitoba. I attended medical school at the University of Limerick in Ireland and then returned to Ottawa to complete my core internal medicine training. I am currently a PGY6 at the University of Manitoba's Adult Cardiology Program. My interests include general cardiology, sports physiology and nuclear medicine. Hobbies outside of medicine include basketball, yoga, and World War II history.
