Dr. Marie Josee Raboisson is the Chief of the Cardiology Department in the Division of Pediatric Cardiology at CHU Sainte-Justine, Université de Montréal. She has extensive clinical and leadership experience in echocardiography, heart failure, and heart transplantation.
She obtained her M.D. from Université Lyon 1 (France) in 1998, followed by a fellowship in fetal echocardiography and Cardiac Catheterization at CHU Sainte-Justine (2000–2002). She later completed advanced training in Heart Transplantation and Heart Failure at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) in Toronto in 2008.
Dr. Raboisson was practicing physician at Hôpital Cardiologique et Pneumologique de Lyon (2002–2008). She joined the Cardiology Division at CHU Sainte-Justine in 2008 as Director of the Heart Transplant and Heart Failure Program. She subsequently held the position of Director of the Echocardiography Laboratory from 2008 to 2020. Her ongoing academic and clinical work focuses on heart failure management, transplant outcomes and fetal hemodynamics.
She has co-authored nine book chapters and is the co-editor of a textbook on congenital heart disease. She is also the co-author of 70 peer-reviewed scientific publications.
