Hazal Babadagli received her BScPharm in 2013 from the Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Alberta, followed by a postbaccalaureate Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2014. She went on to practice in multiple areas of cardiology at the Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute in Edmonton, including general cardiology, cardiac critical care, cardiovascular surgery, and the ventricular assist device program. In 2022, she completed an Advanced Year 2 Cardiology Pharmacy Residency and earned an MSc in Medicine at the University of Alberta. She is now based in Vancouver, where she practices as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at the Vancouver General Hospital Atrial Fibrillation Clinic and as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of British Columbia. Her research interests focus on atrial fibrillation pharmacotherapy and cardiovascular risk reduction.
