Natalie began her career at SickKids in 2007 as a Clinical Extern in the Cardiac Critical Care Unit (CCCU). She went on to receive her BScN from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology in 2008 and began working as an RN in the CCCU. She had a keen interest in ECMO and VADs lending to her becoming an ECMO specialist and a member of the VAD team. She later went on to complete her Master in Nursing and Nurse Practitioner (Pediatric) in 2018. She continues to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the CCCU. She is an active member of the Cardiac Arrest Review Committee.
