Dr Jonathan Sen is a cardiologist completing a post-doctoral fellowship in cardio-oncology at the Peter Munk Cardiac Centre in Toronto, Canada, supported by the Hold'em for Life Oncology Fellowship, and is a Clinical Affiliate of the Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute in Australia. Dr Sen completed his PhD in Melbourne, Australia on myocardial phenotyping in aortic stenosis, focusing on utilizing machine learning and artificial intelligence applications. Dr Sen has received numerous competitive awards including a National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) Postgraduate Scholarship, National Heart Foundation Health Professional Scholarship, and the Paul Korner Medal. He serves on the advisory group for the Australian Cardiovascular Alliance Clinical Trials Flagship and has been co-investigator on over 30 multi-national clinical trials. His research interests in cardio-oncology include machine learning applications towards risk assessment and diagnostics.
