Dr. Aun-Yeong Chong is an Interventional Cardiologist at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute and Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Ottawa, with expertise in intravascular imaging, coronary physiology including microvascular dysfunction and CTO/CHiP PCI. He graduated with First Class Honours from the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia and furthered his training in General Medicine, Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology in the United Kingdom before coming to Canada. He also completed his Doctorate of Medicine at Birmingham University, United Kingdom with his thesis entitled ' Endothelial function in congestive heart failure'.
