Joseph Ricci
Dr. Ricci completed his training in Cardiology at the University of Toronto. Over two decades, Dr Ricci served as medical director of the Central East Regional Cardiac Care program and was the CELIHN vascular lead. On active staff, at Scarborough Health Network and Lakeridge Health he was a member of a team that brought advanced services and cardiovascular rehabilitation to the region and pioneered a regional model for integrated cardiac care.
Dr Ricci is the medical director of the Central East Regional Cardiovascular Rehabilitation who have published widely related regional systems outcomes and cost effectiveness. He is a board member with the CACR.
Dr Ricci is director with Corcare, serving the Durham and Scarborough community. He is a member of Corcare Cardiovascular Research and on faculty at University of Toronto. He the founder of the not-for-profit Corcare Quality and Education Platform, whose mission is to provide primary care education and develop quality of care initiatives.
Dr Ricci leads Corcare quality of care initiatives related to ATTR Amyloid, Heart failure and ASCVD support. Other interests include Lean workflows development clinical practice and information technologies.
Personal interest includes cycling, vinyl records and downhill ski teaching as CSIA instructor
