Dr. Richard Choi is a clinician-educator. He completed his medical school at UBC and internal medicine/cardiology at the University of Toronto. He is a Lecturer at the University of Toronto and has been on staff in the Division of Cardiology at St. Joseph's Health Centre Toronto since 2001 where he is also the Cardiology Education lead. He is a specialist consultant at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health. He is a partner and one of 9 cardiologists at Riverside Cardiology in West Toronto. He has an interest in general cardiology, heart failure, lipids, cardiometabolic health, and the cardiac effects of psychiatric medications. He has been involved in cardiovascular educational programs and initiatives for primary care practitioners and specialists across multiple platforms.
