Medical Student
McGill University
Tara Seirafi is a third-year medical student at McGill University, focused on cardiology research. After completing her DEC in Health Sciences at Marianopolis College in 2022, she joined the Med-P program at McGill.
Her interest in cardiology grew during a McGill Summer Research Bursary in 2022, where she worked with Dr. Eisenberg at the Lady Davis Institute, at the Jewish General Hospital, on a systematic review of extracorporeal cardiopulmonary resuscitation for out-of-hospital cardiac arrests, sparking her interest in critical care.
Currently, Tara collaborates with Dr. Eisenberg on revascularization strategies for myocardial infarction and multivessel coronary artery disease, particularly Fractional flow reserve-guided revascularization. She looks forward to attending the upcoming Canadian Cardiovascular Congress to further her knowledge and advance her career in adult or pediatric medicine
