Carlos A. Cuello, M.D., Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Research Methods, Evidence, and Impact at McMaster University. His work focuses on evidence synthesis, health technology assessment, and clinical practice guideline development using the GRADE approach.
Dr. Cuello has contributed to national and international projects integrating evidence from randomized and non-randomized studies to support healthcare decision-making. He has published in high-impact journals, including the Journal of Clinical Epidemiology and Annals of Internal Medicine, and serves on the editorial boards of The Journal of Pediatrics and The Journal of Clinical Epidemiology.
Through his research and teaching, he aims to strengthen the connection between rigorous evidence and real-world policy and practice.
