Workshop Description: This hands-on simulation session will provide cardiovascular trainees with a comprehensive overview of transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI), focusing on planning, device selection, and deployment techniques. Using high-fidelity simulators from Medtronic (Evolut) and Edwards (Sapien), participants will gain practical experience with both self-expanding and balloon-expandable TAVI systems. The session will cover CT-based procedural planning, vascular access considerations, wire positioning, valve deployment strategies, and bailout techniques for complications such as coronary obstruction or annular rupture. 30min SEV and then BEV, switch.
