Jill Laurin, MD, is an Internal Medicine resident at the University of Calgary’s Cumming School of Medicine. Since 2022, she has been a member of the Autonomic Investigation and Management Lab, where she has had the privilege of working under the mentorship of Dr. Robert Sheldon and Dr. Satish Raj. Her research interests include the pathophysiology of postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS) and novel therapeutic approaches for vasovagal syncope, with a particular focus on translating mechanistic insights into strategies that improve patient outcomes and quality of life.
