Zobaida Al-Baldawi is a first year internal medicine resident at the University of Toronto. She recieved her medical degree from McMaster University and her honour bachelor's degree and master of epidemiology from the University of Ottawa. Her research interests lie in examining treatment strategies and outcomes for patients with homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia (HoFH) and understanding women's heart health in high-risk populations. Outside of research, she is actively involved in national advocacy efforts for patients with HoFH through educational forums.
