Internal Medicine Resident
University Of Saskatchewan, Canada
I am a physician, researcher, and healthcare advocate, currently completing my Internal Medicine residency at the University of Saskatchewan, Regina Campus. Previously, I trained within the UK’s Academic Foundation Program at NHS University Hospitals Sussex, where I contributed to quality improvement projects and clinical research.
Driven by a passion for cardiovascular health, I aim to pursue a fellowship in cardiology to further understand and address the complexities of heart disease. My academic work spans clinical cardiology, preventive medicine, and medical education. I have published on Takotsubo cardiomyopathy, dietary patterns and carotid intima-media thickness, and created nurse-led hypertension protocols, alongside projects in global health and nutrition education.
My research has been presented at international conferences including the American College of Cardiology and the Canadian Cardiovascular Congress 2025, where I am a 2025 finalist for the Richard Rowe Prize.
My goal is to improve patient outcomes through evidence-based, patient-centered care and systems-level innovation. I am particularly interested in sex-specific cardiovascular risk factors, preventive strategies, and the translation of research into clinical practice.
