Dr. Derrick Tam is a resident in cardiac surgery at the University of Toronto and a PhD Candidate at the Institute for Health Policy, Management, and Evaluation at the University of Toronto. He has an interest in health technology assessment and observational research study design. His thesis focuses on the management of aortic stenosis in the era of transcatheter aortic valve replacement.
