Workshop Description: "My worst echo nightmares X” is the 10th annual workshop that uses a case based approach with echocardiographic evaluation of interesting pathologies and life threatening cardiac emergencies. The workshop focuses on difficult and interesting cases related to: 1) valvular heart disease; 2) infective endocarditis; 3) pericardial disease; 4) cardiac tumors; and 5) complications related to myocardial infarction. The target audience for this Workshop will include sonographers, nurses, cardiology trainees, academic and community based cardiologists. A diverse faculty of speakers from different geographies within Canada will present 10 unique cases spread over 2 workshops, with each presentation lasting 7-8 minutes with adequate time for questions. This workshop has been very popular and well received at previous CCC meetings. The planning committee looks forward to providing new, unique case content to stimulate and engage a wide spectrum of cardiovascular professionals through case based discussions
