Dr. Maria Luz Garagiola is originally from Argentina. She moved to Canada to pursue advanced subspecialty training, completing a two-year fellowship in Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD) and Cardio-Obstetrics at the University of Toronto. She then undertook an additional one-year fellowship in Adult Echocardiography at Western University. In 2025, Dr. Garagiola relocated her practice to Queen’s University, where she continues to dedicate her career to the care of patients with congenital heart disease and complex cardiovascular conditions.
