Through clinical scenarios, participants will gain practical insights into evidence-based strategies and treatment pathways. Topics to be covered include:
Differentiating iron deficiency (ID) from iron deficiency anemia (IDA) and understanding their clinical implications -The importance of identifying and treating ID in patients with HF -Limitations of oral iron therapy in HF management -Canadian Cardiovascular Society (CCS) recommendations for treating ID in HF
