Dr Brian J. Potter is an interventional cardiologist and clinician researcher with the Centre hospitalier de l'Université de Montréal (CHUM) Research Center and Cardiovascular Center. Clinically, he specializes in high-risk and complex coronary revascularization, cardiac intensive care, and percutaneous heart failure interventions, and his research focuses on acute myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and interventions for both acute and chronic heart failure, as well as local quality of care initiatives. He has over 90 peer-reviewed publications and has specialized training in health economics and health technology assessment in addition to epidemiology and clinical research (Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, Beth Isreal Deaconess Medical Center). He has also been recognized as a Fonds de recherche du Québec en santé clinician scientist and has been awarded a New Frontiers in Research Fund Exploration Grant.
