Edgar Da Silva is currently completing a Fellowship in Rare Cardiac Conditions (with added Advanced Cardiac Imaging) at the Ottawa Heart Institute, with the goal of becoming a clinician-researcher with special interest in HCM, Cardiac Amyloidosis, Sarcoidosis, Pericardial Diseases and Genetic Cardiomyopathies, along with Advanced Cardiac Imaging. After his doctorate in Medicine, he completed his residency in Internal Medicine and Cardiology, followed by a fellowship in Echocardiography at the University of Campinas (Brazil). In addition to his medical training, he has also applied for a Master of Sciences (MSc) in Clinical Science and Translational Medicine at the University of Ottawa.
