Dr. Sanela Music is a cardiologist at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute and an Assistant Professor at the University of Ottawa. She specializes in heart failure, cardiac transplantation, echocardiography, and pulmonary hypertension. She completed Internal Medicine and Cardiology training at McGill University, and fellowships in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology at Northwestern University, and in Advanced Echocardiography (with a focus on interventional echocardiography) at the University of California in San Francisco. Her clinical and research interests focus on the intersection of heart failure and cardiac imaging in the care of cardiomyopathies, heart transplantation and mechanical circulatory support, valvular disease in heart failure, and pulmonary hypertension.
