Dr. Kibar Yared is a cardiologist and cardiac imaging specialist currently serving as Director of Cardiac Imaging at Scarborough Health Network. He holds board certifications from both the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the American Board of Internal Medicine in Cardiovascular Disease, with additional certification in Cardio-Oncology from the International Cardio-Oncology Society.
Dr. Yared completed his advanced cardiac imaging fellowship at Harvard University's Massachusetts General Hospital, specializing in Level III Echocardiography and Level II Cardiac MRI. Since 2015, he has served as Medical Director of the Cardio-Oncology Program at Scarborough Health Network, pioneering specialized cardiac care for cancer patients. His leadership in cardiac imaging spans over a decade, overseeing comprehensive non-invasive cardiology services including echocardiography, cardiac MRI, and cardiac CT across multiple hospital sites. Dr. Yared is actively involved in cardiovascular research, serving as the SHN principal investigator on several major clinical trials.
