Isabelle Vonder Muhll an associate professor of Medicine at the University of Alberta and cardiologist specializing in the care of adults with congenital heart disease (ACHD) and cardiac imaging. My clinical practice centers around the care of patients with ACHD and aortic disease, echocardiography and cardiac MRI. I have been the medical director of the Northern Alberta Adult Congenital Heart Disease program in Edmonton, Alberta at the Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute for 13 years. My research is collaborative through oversight and contributions to multicenter registries to improve understanding of long-term outcomes in ACHD and the use of imaging in this patient population. I am the program director for the Area of Focus Competency (AFC) in ACHD fellowsip program at the University of Alberta, and co-chair of the subcommittee for the AFC in ACHD at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
