Dr. Inbar Nardi Agmon is a physician-scientist and cardio-oncologist at Sheba Medical Center in Israel. She recently completed a clinical fellowship in cardio-oncology and cardiotoxicity at the Peter Munk Cardiac Centre, Toronto General Hospital.
She holds an MD from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and an MPH in emergency and disaster management from Tel Aviv University. Dr. Nardi Agmon is board-certified in internal medicine and cardiology, with a clinical and research focus on cardiovascular complications of cancer therapies, including immune checkpoint inhibitors and anthracyclines, as well as cardiovascular risk modification in patients with cancer.
Her work integrates patient care with clinical and translational research. She is involved in imaging-based studies to assess atherosclerotic burden in cancer patients, and in preclinical models exploring mechanisms of treatment-related vascular toxicity. She has contributed to multiple peer-reviewed publications in the fields of cardio-oncology, cardiovascular imaging, and cardio-immune interactions, and is actively engaged in research collaborations both in Israel and internationally.
Dr. Nardi Agmon has presented her work at national and international conferences, and is involved in educational efforts to advance the field of cardio-oncology. She has supervised medical students and residents, and co-leads a national webinar series in collaboration with the Israeli Heart Society and the Israeli Society for Clinical Oncology and Radiology. She is a member of the American College of Cardiology, the European Society of Cardiology, and the International Cardio-Oncology Society.
