Dr. Shadi Akhtari is a cardiologist and cardiac imaging specialist at Women's College Hospital and an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Toronto. Apart from clinical practice of general cardiology and expertise in multi-modality cardiac imaging, her other areas of interest are prevention, diagnosis, and management of coronary artery disease, particularly in those with underlying inflammatory rheumatic disease, as well as improving ways in which quality health care is delivered to patients.
