Dr. Marisha McClean is a Paediatric Cardiologist at Children’s Hospital, London Health Sciences Centre. She earned her Bachelor of Medical Sciences degree with honours from the University of the West Indies (UWI) and then went on to complete her MBBS at UWI, Cave Hill Campus. She specialized in Paediatrics, earning a Doctor of Medicine in Paediatrics. Her general cardiology training was completed at Stollery Children’s Hospital in Edmonton, AB where she also completed two additional years of subspecialty training in Interventional Cardiac Catheterization.
Dr. McClean joined the Western University team in December 2019 and is an Assistant Professor in Paediatrics (Cardiology) in the Department of Paediatrics. She is the education lead for clinical clerkship and residency rotation in paediatric cardiology. She also has sits on the UGME, Resident Wellness and Competency committees and is the residency coaching co-lead at Western. Dr. McClean received the 2024 Excellence in Post-graduate education award at Western and is the clinical lead of Children’s Hospital LHSC, Heart Rhythm Device Clinic.
