Dr. Katherine Kavanagh is a Cardiac Electrophysiologist at the University of Calgary, Libin Cardiovascular Institute of Alberta. Her area of clinical expertise includes understanding, diagnosing, and treating cardiac arrhythmias. She implants pacemakers, ICDs and CRT devices. Dr. Kavanagh was one of the PIs for the REFINE-ICD study. Until recently she was the Program Director for Cardiology at the University of Calgary. She is a past chair of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada AFC Subcommittee for Adult Cardiac Electrophysiology.
