Workshop Description: This workshop is part of a new 6-hour interventional cardiology learning track entitled CAIC-ACCI@CCC2025 to be held on Friday October 24, 2025. The aim of this hour of programming is to highlight new clinical trial results published in the last year in both coronary and structural heart interventions. The top 3 Canadian trials and top 3 international trials will be presented by two well-known speakers in both the coronary and structural field. We will ensure ample time for discussion after each presentation. Dr. Raja Hatem will present and discuss the top 3 Canadian and international trials in the coronary intervention field and Dr David Wood will be presenting the top 3 trials in structural interventions.
Drs. Hatem and Wood are world-class speakers with a well-known international reputation in their respective fields. Our panel consists of established early career, mid-career and senior career interventional cardiologist in both the coronary and structural fields.
